[Receipt] / A. Pope. [between 1713 and 1715?]

A receipt for 2 guineas from Mrs. Elizabeth Nevill acknowledging the payment for the translation of Homer's Iliad. Pope proposed translation of the Iliad in 1713; between 1715 and 1720 Bernard Lintot published one book a year paying Pope 200 guineas a volume. The receipt is a printed form with Nevill's name written in and signed by Pope.
